One mom was in for a rude awakening for her behavior after crashing her car. Responding officers noticed that the woman appeared to be drunk when the accident occurred. They also found her 14-year-old son in the car with her at the time of the accident. Luckily, it was a minor crash that didn’t involve any injuries or major damage.
The police officer that responded noticed that as he was interviewing the woman, he could smell alcohol on her and that she was slurring her words. At this point, a sobriety test was administered that she failed. Due to this, she was arrested. Her charges included reckless driving, driving under the influence, and driving under the influence with a minor passenger. No mention was made of how her son was taken home or who had custody of him at the time of the arrest.
